DESCRIPTION

Luftwaffe blue/grey woollen construction overseas cap for Enlisted men. The cap is having an originally applied hand-embroider cap-eagle and black-white-red national tri-colour cockade. The insignia are neatly period hand applied; see photos. The cap has a light-grey coloured rayon lining, an RBNR number, size marking 56 and is dated 1944. The cap is in very good condition with only a field repair on the top with minimal traces of usage. Hard to find original and dated overseas cap.
